I have an idiot dog her name is Gypsy she thinks she is a person and should be treated as such. she is also my doggie model and a poser.I approach pet sessions the same way i do kid sessions......... no plan what so ever. It saves alot of heartbreak and editing later. I just let them go nuts and be themselves. When I take photos of Gyp I make sure there is a ball nearby that will pretty much keep her distracted long enough so I can get at least one pic where she is not trying to climb all over me.
Just let them play and be natural.
They are just kids with fur.
There is nothing left of these tennis balls maybe a bit of fluff under the clothes line.
